Sonic Branding & Curation
We treat sound as its own identity — designed on purpose, with its own arc across the day.

Sound is one of the least designed, most consequential parts of a stay. A 2023 industry study found sonic branding lifted ad recall by 17% in radio and 14% in podcasts. In restaurants, slow-tempo music has been shown to extend dining time by roughly 25%, with a corresponding rise in spend.
The best hospitality groups have already caught up. Langham created a Group Director of Music role and brought in a working DJ to build soundscapes across its spas and restaurants. Taj Hotels commissioned original sonic assets from a dedicated specialist. Most independent properties still leave the job to a streaming playlist and hope.
We design sound with a real arc: what welcomes a guest at arrival isn't what plays at sunset, and neither carries a night into its early hours.
Every room has its own spirit — the lobby, the spa, the restaurant, the bar. Each deserves its own sound, and all of them should feel like the same brand.
What this includes
- Full sonic identity design, arrival through late night
- Sound direction for each space — lobby, restaurant, bar, pool, spa
- Curated playlists, refreshed so regulars don't hear repetition
- Live programming and resident DJ curation
- Artist sourcing and booking for events and residencies
- Guidelines your own team or venue staff can actually run day to day
How we work
Listen
Hearing the property as it is today, space by space and hour by hour.
Define
The sonic identity — mood, tempo, and texture — tied to the brand's positioning.
Curate
Playlists, live talent, and a daily arc for every space.
Hand over
Simple guidelines and ongoing refreshes so the sound stays right without constant attention.
