Guest Experience Design

We design the guest journey end to end — the sequence a stay actually follows, not just the room at the end of it.

A guest's opinion of a stay is shaped by dozens of small interactions — the confirmation message, the walk from the car, the first thing they hear — long before they ever see the room. The touchpoints that create real value are rarely the ones properties spend the most on.

In luxury hospitality, good service is the baseline. What a guest remembers is the ritual: how a place smells, sounds, and changes pace from morning to late night.

Most properties leave this sequence to whoever happens to be on shift. We map it deliberately — arrival, service, pace, departure, and the recovery protocol for when something goes wrong, because something always eventually does.

And we design for the team that has to deliver it. A journey staff can't execute consistently isn't a journey — it's a slide deck.

What this includes

  • Full guest journey mapping, touchpoint by touchpoint
  • Signature rituals specific to the property and its place
  • Arrival and departure sequence design
  • Sensory direction — scent, sound, light, and in-room details
  • Service standards written in the brand's own voice
  • Staff training alignment, so the design actually gets delivered, not just documented
  • Recovery protocols for service failures

How we work
